Riyadh Air, the upcoming airline of Saudi Arabia, has recently initiated a significant recruitment campaign to hire pilots in preparation for its scheduled launch in 2025. Serving as the new global airline with its headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Riyadh Air is set to become the country's second flag carrier. The airline's primary operational hub will be situated at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. Riyadh Air aims to establish itself as the Middle East's leading airline in terms of revenue.

Distinguishing itself as the first digital-native airline, Riyadh Air is dedicated to integrating digital innovation into every aspect of the passenger experience, ensuring a seamless journey. By bringing warm and authentic Saudi hospitality to the skies, Riyadh Air plans to elevate the standards of hospitality to new heights.

 Brief Introduction about Riyadh Air:

Riyadh Air was launched by Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund, Public Investment Fund (PIF). In April of this year, Riyadh Air placed a multi-billion-dollar order for approximately 72 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner planes, marking one of the largest commercial orders in Boeing's history. Riyadh Air's ambitious plans include the induction of around 121 Boeing 787 Dreamliners, positioning it as the fifth-largest commercial order in Boeing's history.

Peter Bellew, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Riyadh Air, announced that the airline is currently seeking its first group of pilots, who will play a vital role in the training process leading up to the airline's launch in two years. Bellew specifically encourages pilots with expertise in operating Boeing 787-9 or Boeing 777 aircraft to submit their applications through Riyadh Air's official website.

The interview process is scheduled to commence in September of this year, with the formal induction of selected candidates set for January 2024, as stated by Bellew. Furthermore, Bellew emphasizes that the airline aims to hire 700 pilots experienced in operating the Boeing 787. However, Riyadh Air is also open to considering candidates with experience in operating wide-body aircraft.

Highlighting the advantages of joining Riyadh Air, the COO emphasizes the appeal of residing in a vibrant capital city currently undergoing substantial development. This opportunity allows individuals seeking a lively environment to become a part of Riyadh's thriving landscape.
